Mumbai: “On this issue, more than a lack of jobs, the issue is a lack of data on jobs. Our opponents will naturally exploit this opportunity to paint a picture of their choice and blame us,” Modi told recently in a speech. “I don’t blame our opponents for blaming us on the issue of jobs, after all, no one has an accurate data on jobs. Our traditional matrix of measuring jobs is simply not good enough to measure new jobs in the new economy of New India,” he said. His speech has given inspiration to many employers who want to keep their employees happy after the appraisal process.
Shwetank Srivastava is a huge Modi fan. In fact, he has named his kids, Ganesh, Suresh and Tamesh ( GST ) after the historic GST bill which was passed in the assembly. He listens to all Modi speeches and tries to implement it in real life. Being the CEO of a StartUp, Shwetank had a tough task keeping employees happy with the proper appraisal process. But just like any other company, his employees also protested over mediocre Appraisal given for the last financial year.
Suddenly Shwetank thought of Modi Ji’s recent speech and invited all employees to a meeting. In the meeting, he conveyed that the Appraisal given was good but it was not reflected in the salary slip. “There has to be a new matrix in place to calculate the hiked amount and put it in the salary slip, which will take 2-3 years for the implementation”. He also promised the employees that they be rest assured about the hikes and can expect it to reflect in the salary slip in the coming years.
