Faking News has the habit of missing important events to award our heroes. We missed awarding people for being “Indian of the year” on new year’s eve or selecting a list of wise men on Holi. But we use this opportunity to declare our entertainment awards for excellence in Bollywood.
Just as everybody wondered what Shahrukh Khan was doing abroad when his movie was to be released in India, Faking News has learnt that King Khan was out to fox Shiv Sena. He has hatched a clever plan with the sports world yet again, but this time the sport being football. SRK is planning a simultaneous release of a movie homonymously titled “My Name Is Kahn”.
In a clear sign of tensions easing out, Shiv Sena has declared that it will not disturb the screening of Shahrukh Khan’s new movie My Name Is Khan till the intermission time, and theatres across Maharashtra were free to release and run the movie for that duration. Party leader Uddhav Thackeray declared it in a press conference today, putting the ball in the court of MNIK team.

NMS members have strongly objected to the title of Karan Johar’s latest movie “Wake Up Sid”. They feel that the title is highly provocative, derogatory and insensitive to people suffering from sleep deficits or insomnia. NMS workers, led by their president Siddharth Thackeray, called on the producer Karan Johar this afternoon and submitted a memorandum demanding immediate apology and change in the title of the movie.
IIM Ahmedabad has decided to include the cult movie Gunda as a case study for its MBA program. The movie already enjoys an exceptional fan following among engineering and management graduates, but this is the first time an educational institute has formally admitted and accepted it as a part of its curriculum. Gunda will help IIM Ahmedabad students learn various aspects of business management.
