Pune. After Sanjay Dutt came out of Yerwada jail after being granted furlough, everybody was really impressed by his fitter look. The pictures showing his flaunting his abs soon went viral and people wished they had got jailers instead of gym trainers.
With the all round praise Sanjay was getting for his body, a profitable business opportunity was soon sensed by the jail authorities. Soon after, Yerwada Jail announced that they would be starting a gym chain with name “Yerwada Jail Gym” all across the country, and Sanjay Dutt will be its brand ambassador.
“The way people are going gaga over Sanjay’s newly found fitness, thanks to our jail, it seems many would be willing to pay to join our gym,” Rajeshwar Deshmukh, a senior Yerwada jail official told Faking News.
Authorities are confident that the coolness quotient of joining a gym started by jail will be unmatched. “Having a star like Sanjay Dutt as brand ambassador, who has this bad boy image is certainly going to help the gym attract youth attention,” Deshmukh said.
However, Yerwada Jail Gym (YJG) will be very different from any other gym. Its USP will be the jail.
“We are trying our best to not lose our core jail culture. For example, one way to get admission into the gym is to commit a little crime, like snatching someone else’s food at a restaurant or get caught while shoplifting chocolates or other edible items. If you don’t want to do these, just ask your girlfriend or wife to register a complain against you for being overweight. We need an FIR first,” Mr. Deshmukh explained the admission process.
There will be 4 kind of programs: of 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 12 month duration. Once inside the gym, member will have to live there for the required number of months.
“It will be a residential gym, but if they want, they can get parole of 5 days after continuously spending 10 hours inside the gym. So my message to our potential customers is – no need to worry, it will not be as tough as it may sound. Ask our brand ambassador Sanjay Dutt!” Deshmukh explained the gym policies.
Best thing about Yerwada Jail Gym will be its “customer controlling process”.
“Once you get admission, you will have to complete your sentence, I mean the program. If any lazy bum tries to drop out of the program, his parole will be cancelled and he would need to spend 10 days continuously at the gym,” Deshmukh explained why the Yerwada Gym was the best option for someone aspiring to get six-pack abs.
