Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati which features Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead has been mired in controversies since months for distorting historical facts. Erstwhile royal of Udaipur, Vishvaraj Singh, has expressed reservation about being a part of the committee, which will be formed to examine matters relating to the controversial movie Padmavati. Now the censor board has a big task on hands, that of forming a committee which will select the committee members to review Padmavati.
Getting Padmavati reviewed before its release is a secondary matter now. The main task is to select the members who will green light the release. Many members of the Mewar royal family and some other historians are eager to be the part of the esteemed committee and the decision to select the members looks like a tough nut to crack. That is why Censor Board director Prasoon Joshi has decided that he will try to form a committee of people with expertise in forming a committee. He wishes to bring in former judges, erstwhile filmmakers, and other creative decision makers to decide who all should be a part of the committee formed to review Padmavati.
Prasoon has set himself a deadline of 1st Jan to decide upon the members who will form a committee to decide upon members to be part of the final committee. This process seems will take 1-2 months to get completed and once the movie has been green light, the producers will arrive upon the release date. As per the calculations made by our team, the movie should get released sometime in 2019 and Deepika Ranveer fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Sanjay Bhansali has thanked the censor board team for being so considerate as he had given up hopes on the movie getting released.
