Delhi: WWE Raw to host fight between Modi and Rahul Gandhi; Kejriwal appointed referee

Wrestling enthusiasts across the country are ecstatic as New Delhi is all set to host WWE Raw matches this December. The event will feature popular wrestlers, namely Triple H, Jinder Mahal, Kane and Braun Stroman among others.

However, the talk of the town is the fight between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress VP Rahul Gandhi. To add to the excitement, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been appointed as the referee for the mega fight.

The big fight was fixed only after organisers feared an empty house at the event. To the organisers’ delight, all the tickets were sold in an hour after they announced the mega fight. The match, titled ‘Fight of the Night’, will see Narendra Modi walking out in saffron shorts. The prime minister will don shorts for the first time since his RSS venture. On the other hand, Sonia Gandhi hasn’t revealed what she will be making Rahul Gandhi wear.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will don the referee’s avatar in a striped black and white t-shirt. “Everyone is filing defamation cases against me, due to which I may soon get arrested. So, it’s not a bad idea to be mentally prepared for the imprisonment by wearing clothes that resemble a prisoner’s uniform,” he said. When asked who he is supporting in the match, he said, “I will reveal my true colours only after the elections, erm… during the fight.” (Sic).

It is believed that BJP President Amit Shah might intervene during the fight to help Narendra Modi win the match. Rumours have also hinted that he will be buying most of the seats (in the stadium) for increased support. However, he rubbished the rumours saying, “Why would I save Narendra bhai? On the contrary, he has saved me many times in the past when I had to face the law. He is above everyone else. Agree or go to Pakistan.”
