Mumbai: If we talk about the streaming services market in India, the last couple of years have witnessed a massive explosion in the number of video streaming services, both domestic and from overseas.
Earlier, YouTube was the only name Indians could think when they wanted to watch videos online. But now with Netflix, Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and ALTBalaji, the landscape has changed. What has also changed is the mentality of people. First, when they had to pay 50-100 Rs for a movie online they hesitated, but now people are willing to pay premium charges for their choice of shows.
Shwetank Srivastava is one such crazy fan of the streaming culture. He has the subscription of all streaming platforms. But his interest put him into deep trouble as the IT department conducted a raid on his laptop.
Shwetank was not at home on Wednesday when the IT department conducted a raid on his house and got the premium versions of all the shows. He had spent some 1 lac rupees on the total subscription of all channels and the IT dept believes that he is not even working anywhere so how is it possible for him to have a subscription for all channels. Currently, Shwetank is under observation of the police and will be only released once he recalls how did he get so much money.
