Mumbai: A day after Ajay Devgn released an audio recording alleging that 2 Rs Superstar Kamaal R. Khan took 25 Lakhs from Karan Johar to promote ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and criticize ‘Shivaay’, reports have surfaced alleging that he took this amount in 2 Rs coins.

Both ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Shivaay are set for a release this Diwali and the competition is causing a lot of friction between the 2 producers. Self proclaimed no. 1 critic of India and trade analyst Kamaal R Khan has been criticizing Shivaay on Twitter and praising ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, and this hasn’t gone down well with Ajay Devgn. An upset Devgn released the audio tape alleging the transfer of 25 lakhs behind these tweets of KRK.

Now an anonymous source has come forward confirming the payment of 25 Lakhs and has said that the payment was made using 12.5 Lakhs 2 Rs coins, the favorite currency denomination of KRK.

“The day Karan Johar came to know that his film’s release date will clash with Shivaay, he started planning his social media strategy. Of course, No. 1 critic, KRK was vital to his strategy. He started collecting coins of 2 Rs from that day only since he knows how much KRK loves 2 Rs people. After working hard for weeks, he finally had 12.5 Lakh coins to pay KRK and get him to promote his film”, the anonymous source said.

“All the coins were placed in 10 big jute bags and then carried over to KRK’s house in a big lorry. It felt like a scene straight out of ‘Breaking Bad’ when they put Heisenberg’s cash in all those barrels. A very professional job and one that KRK greatly appreciated”, our source added.

While Karan Johar and Ajay Devgn refused to speak to us about this controversy, KRK just said ,”Kiss to 2 Rs coin, kick to 1000 Rs note.”
