Mumbai. Ramanand Sagar’s popular TV series Ramayana, first aired in the 1980s, has garnered huge viewership within a week, as people stay home because of the lockdown in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis and turn to consume more entertainment.

Not only is the serial garnering good numbers, but it has also impacted many lives during this lockdown. People have come together, families have come together to celebrate the bonding between brothers and also realizing the importance of a family.

Two brothers in Mumbai who used to fight a lot with each other on the smallest of things started watching Sooryavansham together. Sooryavansham was the favorite of one of the two brothers and the other one never enjoyed it. But such is the impact of Bharat’s and Ram’s bonding shown in Ramayana that both forget their preferences and started watching the cult movie on SET MAX. Set Max will gain a lot in the coming days as more and more brothers will watch it together due to the lockdown.

Sooryavansham will soon hit the record TRPs and will break its own record which it has held for the longest time among the Indian movies on TV.
