Mumbai police have a team that follows social media trends extensively and comes up with witty tweets related to traffic movement and in general road safety tips. One of the social media team members saw the hate which Dhinchak Pooja’s new song got on social media and was quick to bring it to the notice of the senior management. Upon watching the full video, the police department felt that the thieves who are stealing the phones are doing a great service to the nation and they should be rewarded.

The police team caught hold of 5 members of the smartphone robbery gang and awarded them with money and certificate. Knowing about the incident, other robbers surrendered themselves and the felicitation ceremony will be held in the coming week in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
