Kiki Challenge, an ongoing social media challenge where people jump out of their moving cars and dance on Drake’s In My Feelings song while the car moves along, has gone viral. Kiki challenge is quite unsafe and risky to perform and a few people have met with accidents while performing the dance.
Though Kiki challenge has brought fun and talent to the fore, at the same time, it has exposed some serious issues that needs government’s attention. Mukti Mishra, a resident of mumbai, was performing Kiki challenge and danced for around 700 mtrs to reach her office in Andheri West. Mukti kept dancing while her car got stuck in traffic and she reached her office well in advance of her driver.
This incident became news and Media houses have targeted BMC and the Maharashtra govt for poor road and traffic conditions that make walking faster than driving a car. Currently, Mumbai Police has banned the Kiki challenge citing road safety issues.
Faking News reporter spoke to Mukti who said, “I am shocked that me reaching before my driver is more talked about than my dance. Nevertheless, I am happy that my dance has exposed the poor traffic conditions of Mumbai city.” Mukti further accused the Mumbai Police of shielding BMC by banning Kiki challenge, citing road safety issues.
