With Bollywood not releasing any good movie this week to tide over the January jinx, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has pitched in and assured countrymen that he’d be giving speeches inside the Parliament and and outside too to keep everyone entertained.
Unlike his recent comments on the media where he called them ‘pliable’ which led to heated debates, this time around Rahul said that his speeches would be humorous in nature.
Sources within the Congress party revealed that their President was seen jotting down notes, which supposedly are material that he’d be sharing in the Parliament.
While speaking to the media earlier in the day, he said, “Rafale par Modiji ke saath behas ke baad mai ab Federer pe bhi behas karoonga. Pichle baar PM mere sawalon ka jawab nahi de paye. Iss baar unhe fir se off-guard pakadunga aur Monday ki subah unka surprise quiz lone wala hoon.”
Taking a jibe at Rahul, a BJP spokesperson questioned the need for preparation. “Does he really need a script. All he has to do is stand in front of the mic and open his mouth,” said the spokesperson.
Rohit Shetty, who was hoping that Simmba would get another week at the box-office, is now worried after Rahul Gandhi’s announcement. Trade Analyts believe that Simmba’s collection would stall if Rahul goes ahead with his plan. “Simmba is a complete entertainer. But even that wouldn’t stand a chance before Rahul. The movie could probably lose around 50Cr of business,” said Taran Adarsh.
