Robbers request Bollywood to show practical ways of robbing banks so that they could learn something

New Delhi. Requesting Bollywood filmmakers to show practically more feasible way of robbing banks, Indian Bank Robbers Association (IBRA) today claimed that robbers were failing to learn anything from these movies.

Addressing a press conference at a secret location in the outskirts of the capital city, Bhanwar Singh, head of IBRA lashed out at the film industry for showing such fictitious tricks of robbing that robbers across the country have started believing that they were wasting time and money while watching movies.

Bank Robbery
That’s how a real bank robbery takes place in India. Classless.

“Each time we go to watch a bank robbery centric movie, we have expectations of getting motivated and learning few new tricks of the trade. But what we get in return is babaji ka thullu. It feels nice to see people clapping and whistling at an act performed by a robber, but deep within, we know it’s crap,” said Bhanwar Singh venting out his frustration.

“It may not be a big deal for common people as they are in theatre just to pass the time. But many of us watch such movies to get inspired and learn,” Bhanwar Singh continued, adding that the kind of robbers they show in movie don’t exist in the country.

“They should make more realistic movies which highlights our pains and troubles which we face in even a simple act of robbery,” he suggested.

To make filmmakers make realistic movies, IBRA has decided to document a “normal” robber’s physical limitations and limited technological skillsets and distribute it in Bollywood.

“We are simple people, not circus employees. To be frank, we can’t perform such daredevil escapes like Aamir in Dhoom 3 and Hrithik in Dhoom 1, or even Salman in Kick; we are neither Leonardo Da Vinci in disguise who is capable of designing and developing any kind of gadgets. If we were such kind of brainy people, we wouldn’t have become robber at first place,” reasoned Guddu Tyagi, another senior member of IBRA.

Guddu also revealed an incident where he was mocked by a tennager while robbing a bank.

“He called us old fashioned and backward,” disclosed Guddu.
