Supreme Court to hear a PIL to put an end to Ranvir-Deepika’s receptions

New Delhi: Ever since Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married a fortnight ago in Italy, they have been on a reception throwing spree across the nation. Fed up with all wedding venues being booked for their receptions, a Delhi resident has filed a PIL against these receptions. Mr. Arun Saxena, a Karol Bagh resident, has filed this PIL after failing to get any booking in a 5-star hotel for his wedding because all of them were booked by the couple for their receptions.deepveer_11_0

Speaking to Faking News, Mr. Saxena said,” This is ridiculous by the couple, they are throwing a reception in each hotel now and people like me aren’t getting any booking. They don’t even book the hotel for a day; their high-profile guests start arriving days in advance and keep the whole place occupied while we are denied a booking. Even an offer to pay extra money doesn’t help as hotel manager prefers Bollywood couple due to all the free marketing they get thanks to the press coverage.”

“And don’t even get me started on the press coverage, I want to read some news in my newspaper instead of looking at reception pics of ‘DeepVeer’ every day. I am planning to sue the newspaper separately for not giving me news despite promising me a ‘newspaper’. I found out through inked fingers selfies on WhatsApp that there are some elections going on as well in the country, I thought only this reception run is going on”, he added.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are planning to add another reception for the Supreme Court judges in Delhi.
