Mumbai. Akshay Kumar starrer, Toilet Ek Prem Katha has sent a strong message to the government  and administration. On Independence Day, the box office collection of the movie crossed the all time revenue collection of all the Sulabh Suchalayas combined. Collections of both don’t include unofficial leaks and fine collected from those illegal leaks, torrent or on the wall.

A satirical comedy in support of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Toilet Ek Prem Katha was released on 11th August and collected over 67 crores in less than a week, while the total collection of all the Sulabh Sauchalays has been a little over 50 crores. Government is likely to make the movie tax free whereas Sulabh Sauchalayas will remain taxable.

Faking News reporter spoke to one of the viewers of the movie who is also a frequent Sulabh Sauchalaya user. Mr. Santosh Yadav, who is a PM Modi’s fan told Faking News that since the launch of Swacch Bharat abhiyaan he has used only Sulabh Sauchalaya. Talking about the movie he said, movie is well made and people calling it shitty aren’t wrong since movie is all about defecation. Santosh has helped more than a lac people in building toilets.

Akshay Kumar has invited Santosh for the lunch and the post lunch activities to promote his movie. Akshay Kumar has also urged citizen of his country and India to participate in Swacch Bharat abhiyaan in all the possible way they can.

If a movie that promotes use of toilet earns more than public toilets then it’s time we start re-thinking about our priorities. Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan is for every one of us and every one of us must participate so that we can give the next generation a little better India.
