Former Congress MLA Baba Siddique hosted his much-awaited annual Iftar party on Sunday in Mumbai. The who’s who of Bollywood attended the glitzy function at the Taj Land Ends. Big names like Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, amongst others were spotted at the event. But not invited were two actors, namely, Fardeen Khan and Uday Chopra. Fardeen and Uday who were not getting any movies off late decided to fight with each other, in the hope of getting an invitation from Baba Siqqique for his much-awaited Iftar Party. But to their surprise, there was no such invitation and they felt betrayed by Baba.

fardeen and Uday who are not in news for ages now and are not being approached by filmmakers for any movies thought it was a good idea to catch some eyeballs and get their photos clicked at Baba’s Iftar party. For any actor, the ultimate prize of acting in Bollywood movies is getting an invite from Baba Siddique. It is an easy means of promoting oneself as most of the prominent journalists and photographers are present at the Iftar party. A photo clicked with Baba can do wonders for a degrading career and movie makers can notice your face again.

But after wasting a whole year in fighting and proving to Baba Siddique that there was some disrespect between them, it was a shocker that they were not invited for the Iftar party. And now both the actors have taken the help of law and sued Baba for wasting their 1 year in which they could have done many movies. Well, at least they think so. Fardeen spoke to Faking News reporter and said this,” Look, If Baba did not want to invite us he should have told us 5-6 months before so that we won’t have wasted out times.”
