Peru (not the Guava): In a recent development to restrict the content published on Facebook and other networking sites, the Minister of Communications and Interference technology of India Mr.Kapil Siibal, has finally gotten things his way.
He demanded that Facebook removed any content he thinks is offensive. Facebook however suggested the Minister that they introduce a ‘Kapil Siibal it’ button instead, just like the ‘like it’ button. Mr. Siibal welcomed the idea with a ‘like it’ and thumbs up gesture. He made an announcement at the exhibition of erotic media, where he was chief guest, saying “I am happy fb has honoured me”. Facebook however is debating if the button should have a “Kapil Siibal it” or “Mole it” button. Mr.Siibal has a very distinctive mole, and it reminds us of Mike Mayers and the mole-guy from the movie Goldmember, hence the ‘mole it’ option, said FB’s spokesperson. Just like the ‘like it’ button and the tiny thumbs up symbol, ‘mole it’ will have a ‘mole on a smiley’ as its symbol, he further said.
FB is working to further honour the minister by adding ‘Mark as a Mole’ and ‘Report as a Mole’ instead of ‘Mark as Spam’ and ‘Report as Abuse’ respectively, for the comments and photos posted by its users.
The rooster was able to get his beak on the ‘Moled smiley’ symbol that FB is going to introduce exclusive for its readers.
You better not get moled!
