New Delhi: With no work being undertaken at the Parliament Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha TV channels have today announced that they will now showcase episodes of Big Boss as and when parliament gets adjourned.

” Well what can we do? Everyday we have to set up the parliament to showcase to the people of the country their elected leaders taking part in discussions and policy making but that never seems to happen. We do everything get everything ready for what? A two min live feed before the parliament is adjourned. We thus decided to show material that is of importance to Indians. What is more important that Big Boss?” fumed the CEO of Lok Sabha TV who did not wish to be named as he feared for the Broadcasting Ministers wrath. ” We were even loosing out on valuable TRP. I mean people just wouldnt watch the channel knowing nothing was ever gonna happen.” continued the CEO trying to explain the decision.

” In any case watching the bitching and bickering in Big Boss is far better than watching the Parliamentarians in action. I mean ironically even the contestants at Big Boss use more parliamentary language and demeanor compared to the elected members of Parliament. Big Boss too has the same kind of attributes. There is bickering over the smallest of things and people just shout for no reason. There is treachery, sleaze and backbiting just like in the parliament. People with egos clashing and strategising how to kick each other out. Its no different. Hell even the people are the same. The celebs in Big Boss no one knows about. Same with the Ministers. With each showing up once in 5 years in their respective constituencies no one really knows them either.Only Big Boss is “U” rated. If we continued to show the bickering in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha it wouldnt be long before the censor board would have been forced to give us a “A” or atleast a “PG” rating. This way we will also get back out TRP and hopefully a number of sponsors will also join in giving us much needed funds ” explained the CEO.

Meanwhile it is not yet learnt weather the episodes broadcast-ed will be new or old. On the matter of permission from Colours to allow them to showcase the show the CEO said that since the show was of national importance Colours would be forced to allow them to showcase the episodes just like DD Sports showcases the Indian Team Cricket matches.

On being asked why they did not broadcast cultural shows during that time the CEO laughed out loud saying ” Who watches that shit? Do you? I dont. ”
