The UPA government announced a plan to clear India’s national debt in entirety by simply charging it on former telecom minister, Mr. A. Raja’s credit card. “Our program of allowing crooked Union Ministers to siphon money from government projects is finally paying off for the Indian people,” Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told reporters. He added, “We also plan to provide the Ministry of Health and Human Welfare with an add-on card for treating an epidemic of amnesia among DMK party chief, Mr. M. Karunanidhi’s children and nephews as well as Union Home Minister, Mr. P Chidambaram, all of whom are no longer able to remember meeting, speaking to, or having dinner with Mr. Raja.
