New Delhi: As North-East Delhi limps back to normalcy after a deadly riot, the role of AAP corporator Tahir Hussain has come under the scanner.

With video evidence showing stone pelting and petrol bombs being hurled from his house, AAP has been put on the defensive to explain his role.

While initially AAP argued that Tahir Hussain wasn’t in the house, video evidence emerging showing his presence has now made it very difficult to deny his involvement so the Party leadership has finally decided to act against him.

As per sources, Arvind Kejriwal was very angry with Tahir Hussain after learning about his involvement and has decided to punish him by making him a minister in his cabinet. This punishment will be carried out within 6 months and a suitable seat will be vacated for his MLA election.

An AAP leader on the condition of anonymity said, “We could have made him a minister immediately as well but we are just waiting for his arrest and the subsequent bail. That will add some weight to his political credentials and then we can give him a senior role.”

Meanwhile, Ministry of Home Affairs is considering a request for a WWE cage match between Kapil Mishra and Tahir Hussain.
