Baba Ram Rahim’s expertise in making tunnels to be used for the 27 km tunneling work for the bullet train

15, Sep 2017 By Santosh Pradhan

The 508 km stretch of the bullet train which will start in 2022  will have 468 km of elevated track, 27 km inside the tunnel and the remaining 13 km on the ground. India does have an expertness in building elevated corridors with many metros as example but tunneling is something where our engineers fall short. And that is the reason government has decided to take help of Gurmeet Ram Rahim in building the tunnel efficiently.

An illegal explosive factory used to make crackers and two tunnels were found inside Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters near Haryana’s Sirsa on the second day of a search operation. The search team found a window-like tunnel connecting Ram Rahim’s room (Dera Awas) to the room of Sadhvis (Sadhvi Niwas). Another fiber tunnel were also found inside Baba Ram Rahim’s room. These were not ordinary tunnels. There was proper air circulation, lighting and other safety features. These are the same features Engineers want to incorporate into the Bullet train tunnel.

PM Modi has ordered the Haryana CM to send a team of Engineers to the jail where Babaji is kept and try to understand the details about the tunneling techniques. Babaji has agreed to provide all details but in return has asked for some more facilities other than the one’s he’s already getting inside the jail. He wants to build a tunnel from the jail to his Dera Sauda premises so that he can jump between both locations as and when he wants to.

Japanese PM Shinzo Abe was shown the pictures of the tunnel found at Babaji’s premises and even he was impressed by the sophisticated use of technology by Babaji and called it an Engineering marvel.
