Bihar: Rattled by the news reports about Bihar’s so called toppers who couldn’t answer basic questions, the education board of the state is taking proactive measures to ensure that such incidents don’t happen in future.
Sources say that education board has said that it will provide tutorials to state toppers to enable them to answer questions put forth by the media.
Speaking to Faking News, the chief of Bihar Education board said, “Yes it’s true that we will be providing tutorials to all toppers just to be on the safe side. We have divided the tutorials into three parts: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. Basic tutorials will cover names of the subjects and their correct pronunciation, while Advanced tutorial will cover parts of the syllabus which students are supposed to study.”
“You can never be too sure with these news reporters. We’ll prepare our toppers in such a way that even Arnab won’t be able to tell the difference,” he said with a confident look.
Toppers across the state welcomed the move and breathed a collective sigh of relief. “I went underground after I saw the video of ‘Prodigal Science’ topper. I wouldn’t be able to even recollect the subjects that my proxy has appeared for in the exam. I am not taking any chances and have already enrolled for the tutorial,” said a topper who didn’t wish to be named.
Meanwhile, state administration has asked toppers and their parents to rest assured and not worry too much about the media. “Tutorials are just part of the plan. We are also in talks with news channels to reach an agreement on the questions that would be asked to toppers. Hopefully next time you’ll see a topper acing the exams and the ‘media acid test’,” said an official from the Education Board.
