Dera supporters believe Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim's magical powers real reason behind Mumbai's current situation

The last few days have been really tough for the country. Some important decisions were taken and a few calamities also occurred. Dera Sacha Sauda chief, Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan (will be referred to as BGRRSI hereafter in this article), was held guilty by a special CBI court.

Also, heavy rains accompanied by strong winds wreaked havoc in Mumbai. Though the two incidents have nothing in common but Dera supporters believe that the bad weather in Mumbai was a result of Baba’s arrest.

BGRRSI is considered one of the most revered icons by his supporters. Even after Baba admitted his crimes in the court, his supporters refused to accept the truth and instead abused BGRRSI for not coming up with the truth while under oath. Allegedly, BGRRSI knows black magic and has used it on many occasions.

If his supporters are to be believed, India had almost lost the 2011 WC finals against Sri Lanka but then Baba did some black magic and India lifted the world cup after 28 years.

BGRRSI supporters claim that the recent floods in Mumbai weren’t due to BMC’s incompetency or poor drainage system but because of BGRRSI’s arrest. They believe it’s all because of Baba’s wrath. Apparently, BMC also happens to believe in this logic and has blamed Indian Judicial system for taking such an action during the monsoons.

According to Baba’s supporters, not only the Mumbai floods, but also the Houston floods, where Storm Harvey has affected 100,000 homes, were because of Baba’s wrath. One of Baba’s supporters said, “Baba had global presence and that’s the reason his wrath won’t be limited to one country or one city. The situation will get worse with time if Baba is not released.”

As per Baba’s claims, many famous personalities, the likes of which include Virat Kohli and Ashish Nehra, could do well in life only after meeting BGRRSI. This incident has made us realise that we must not give over importance to any one person and think logically when faced with unexpected situations in life.
