Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh not only wants to know the exact head count of cows, buffaloes, pigs, goats and sheep, it wants to educate them till primary class. If some of them would like to study beyond Primary level, Government will support them.

While allocating a hefty sum of 10 crores in this regard, minister of Animal Husbandry department, Mr. J.P. Nishad said, “In our Cabinet meeting we have decided to allocate 10 crores for recruiting teachers and to have proper school infrastructure where all our beloved animals can come and peacefully study. For their books, note books, pen, pencil, uniforms, we will release additional funds soon.”

While elaborating the ‘reason’ behind it, Mr. Nishad said, “Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan ka matlab kya hota. Sab Padhe Sab Badhe. Then why we should keep our animals outside of that. The animals have been neglected for years, time has come to correct our past mistakes.”

“By educating animals, we will get additional benefits like when animals are mistreated, woh aapna awaaz khud uthaenge. They can lodge their complaint and we will look in to it immediately. Now people are playing around cow politics. This initiative will stop it,” said Mr. Nishad.

Hailing the steps taken by Pashupalan Bibhag of UP Sarkar, CM Yogi Adityanath who has recently added “Gone to Noida’ under ‘achievements’ section of his LinkedIn profile said, “Agar UP ko Uttam Pradesh banana hai, humein iss tarah ka kuch bade prayash karna padega, aur hum jaroor karenge.
