It would be another 15 days of staying inside your homes after Govt extended the lockdown, which earlier was to end on April 14th.
Citizens heaved a collective sigh of exasperation after the announcement was made.
While many somehow managed to keep themselves occupied by binge watching webseries, the prospect of spending another two weeks doing nothing seems to be daunting.
To make the lockdown tolerable, Govt has now assured citizens that it will ask streaming platforms to add more and better content.
While speaking to Faking News, Information and Broadcasting Minister said, “As you know we have already started old classic serials on Doordarshan. We will also ask Netflix and Hotstar to add more content so that things won’t get boring for viewers.”
Keeping citizens at home is not an easy task for the Govt. “Senior Citizens seem to have a lower threshold when it comes to getting bored. So we are planning to telecast Baghban on loop to keep them occupied,” revealed a Govt Official.
A high level meeting is also expected to take place to brainstorm on ideas which can serve as PM’s Sunday Task for Citizens.
“The idea is to keep the citizens engaged. Even the anticipation of a task taking place on Sunday is enough. earlier we had clapping and holding candles as tasks. We are now looking more tasks till the month end,” said a highly place Govt official.
Sources say that creators of Bigg Boss and Khatron ke Khiladi could also be roped for additional tasks.
