Karan Johar’s college caper SOTY2 may not have got rave reviews from the critics, but thanks to the movie the lead actor Tiger Shroff has managed to bag a fully funded scholarship to Harvard.

Apparently, faculty members at Harvard watched a special screening of the movie which left them mighty impressed with Tiger’s scholastic achievements. In the movie Tiger managed to overcome personal challenges and face his competitors while managing to grab the much coveted title of Student of the Year.

A senior faculty member who forwarded Tigers impressive resume to the admissions office spoke to Faking News and said, “It is indeed a challenge for any student to focus of studies when you are surrounded by beautiful girls dressed in skimpy outfits. Not to mention the song and dance routine and the threat of being bullied by the bad guys. Tiger was really impressive and every member on the admissions panel was convinced that he needed to be at the University.”

Though the life of a student depicted in SOTY2 was nowhere close to reality, Harvard University had absolutely no issue with it. “College life is all about managing you studies with extra-curricular activities. And Tiger has shown that he can excel at both. Our scholarship is directed at such exceptional students,” remarked the Harvard Dean.

The University has extended a list of courses that Tiger could choose from for his graduation study.

Sources say that a few top insititutes from India could also have a similar offer for the actor. It is not yet clear if Tiger would be accepting the offer.

Movie producer Karan Johar was happy that his students are getting offers from prestigious global universities. Though ex-students Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra got no such offer.
