Bangalore. The jails in Karnataka will be categorized as 3 star, 4 star and 5 star according to the facilities provided to the inmates, says the Congress government in the state. While the facilities are reserved only for the elite few, anyone with enough money at their disposal can apply with a security deposit amount of Rs 2 crores, it is learnt by Faking News.

“Prisons is one of the departments in the state, where the government spends good amount of money, in every budget. We have given a serious thought to make the department profitable and decided to categorize the prisons with star ratings. Parapana jail in Bangalore will gain a rare 7 star ratings with swimming pool access and a shopping experience within the premises,” said the SP of prisons to Faking News.

“The rates in the jail are slightly higher than the Leela, Hyatt and ITC group of hotels in India. The security deposit of rs. 2 crores is totally non-refundable. For the first time in the hospitality industry, the rates have been decided after series of negotiations with the guests who are going to use the facilities. There are special discounts for the guests who make anticipatory bookings,” he further added.

“The reception committee differs in these facilities according to the number of stars. A few unfortunate prisoners who will go to unrated facilities will receive third-rate treatments. The fortunate guests at the star facilities will be able to enjoy the comforts. The top cops are being sent to workshops where they will get trained by the best in the business,” the SP concluded to Faking News.

The top police officers who do not want to be in the new revenue model can opt for transfer to the other departments, the government categorically issued a GO, it is learnt by Faking News.
