Donald Trump is visiting the country and while he talks trade deals with PM Modi, the President did include some sight-seeing too.
Trump has made the most of his India trip by visiting Sabarmati Ashram, Rajghat and other monuments and place of historical significance. And at each of the aforementioned places, the US President has taken time out to pen his thoughts in the visitor’s book.
Sources say that Donald Trump himself marveled at this ability to write pages and while speaking to some of his close aides, confessed that he had not written so much even in elementary school.
While speaking to his advisers, the President seems to have said, “I have a good memory. I was a smart kid. While others used to take down notes, I used to register all that in my brain. So I didn’t have to write much. In fact, in the last 24 hours I have filled more pages in the visitor’s book than I have ever done in elementary school. I thank PM Modi for giving this opportunity to write so much.”
Trump even said that the ‘exercise’ has now given him a sore arm and would like to wind up his India trip with a good massage.
There were speculations that the First Lady would spend some time with the President to tend to his sore arm.
However, insiders say that Melania has expressed a desire to feast on pani-puri while in Delhi and the chances of spending time with the President are slim.
