New Delhi: During his appearance before Finance Standing Committee of Parliament, Urjit Patel said RBI is still counting old notes, once it is complete it will be in a position to comment on the amount of money that came back in to the system.
Without disturbing RBI governor Urjit Patel and his team on note counting, we went through Nostradamus to check the answer whole of India is still eagerly waiting for, when the counting of notes will be complete? Yes, we found the answer! There was a page on demonetization where the Nostradamus has clearly stated, the counting of notes will not end before the human civilization ends.
It was clearly mentioned this will be the by far the toughest exercise any state can take. Unfortunately, it has fallen on the hands of India’s central bank employees who are counting junked notes daily without taking breaks in weekends and holidays.
We spoke to Mr. Veerappa Moily who heads the Parliamentary panel. Mr. Moily said, “there were some members from opposition camp who asked tough questions during the lengthy question answer session, however Dr. Manmohan Singh didn’t ask a single question. Now I can understand why he was keeping quiet. Being a well red man, probably he was only one among us who has already read the Nostradamus prediction”.
Veerappa Moily added, “After the meeting I talked to Dr. Singh. Now I am enlightened about what Nostradamus has written, told Dr. Patel afterwards, this is the last meeting he had with us. We will not call him again. I am going to submit the demonetization report in monsoon session of parliament which starts on July 17th. RBI can continue, for us we are done with this topic.”
In the meanwhile, Prime minister is upset with so much time being taken by RBI staff for counting old notes. He has asked Arun Jaitley who is relatively free among all ministers to supervise this task and complete it asap.
