Islamabad: Pakistan Army has released Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan as a peace gesture from their side and now Pakistan PM Imran Khan is expecting a similar peace gesture from Indian side. Cricketer turned politician Imran Khan has asked India to start sending tomatoes to Pakistan again as a peace offering.

After the Pulwama terror attack, India-Pakistan trade had taken a hit with India imposing a 200% duty on imports from Pakistan, and stopping the export of tomatoes there. This step had increased tensions between the 2 Nuclear neighbors with one journalist from Pakistan even threatening a Nuclear attack if he doesn’t get his tomatoes.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Imran said, “We have taken one step towards peace, and now we expect India to do the same by releasing our tomatoes. It has been a week since I had tomatoes available for tadka. The colour from the butter chicken is gone, good has become bland and unappetizing. This is torture and even this is against Geneva Convention.”

“I tried these tomato pastes that they sell in supermarkets but that turned out to be shit. That natural feel is not there with them. If as a PM, I can’t afford tomatoes then imagine what is happening with common people of Pakistan, and if India doesn’t agree to send tomatoes, then remember that we are a Nuclear power with many Nuclear bombs,” the Pakistan PM said.

When asked if he is willing to trade Masood Azhar and Hafiz Saeed for tomatoes, Imran said, “Bhai if I touch them, I will be exported to India.”
