Ram Kadam’s controversial statement may have got him a lot of criticism, but the motor mouth BJP MLA has something to cheer about. Bollywood director Prakash Jha has roped in Ram Kadam to play the lead in the sequel of his successful movie Apaharan.

The movie is titled Aparharan Returns and is slated to go on floor sometime next month. Surprisingly, Ajay Devgn was the first choice to play the lead role. However, things changed after Mr. Kadam’s recent statement at an event.

Speaking to Faking News Prakash Jha said, “Ram Kadam definitely has some serious acting skills. I am all for promoting new talent. He was sounded so convincing about kidnapping girls that I was pretty sure that he’s play not just lead but every other character related to kidnapping in the movie. His speech at the event was as good as audition for me.”

The director says that he’ll soon make an offer to the MLA and also discuss the script with him.

Surprisingly critics of Ram Kadam were happy to hear about his Bollywood foray and said anything that keeps him away from politics and making stupid statement should be welcomed.

Meanwhile, actor and promoter of Vimal Pan masala Ajay Devgn was upset at the decision to replace him. He said that it was preposterous and said that the sequel was doomed to fail. “Ata majhi kharach satakli,” he said while replying to our text message.
