After replacing Kumble, Ravi Shashtri to replace existing rail coaches to improve performance

27, Aug 2017 By Guest Patrakar

Recently, BCCI replaced Anil Kumble by Ravi Shastri as the head coach of team after which the Indian team has started performing better. Seeing this,  the Railway Minister of India, Mr. Suresh Prabhu has requested PM Modi to appoint Ravi Shastri as the coach of trains that pass through UP.

India witnessed some of the most unfortunate train accidents lately as the trains’ coaches are getting derailed more than often. While the major issue is with tracks but government believes that if a coach is better, trains won’t get derailed even on broken tracks.

After the derailing of Kalinga Utkal Express, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu took the moral responsibility of the incident and offered his resignation to PMO. PMO asked Prabhu to wait and directed him to get better coaches.

Immediately after the news of Ravi Shastri getting additional responsibility broke, social media started taking a dig.

One of the twitter users tweeted, “Where were you prabhu when Sachin derailed Rawalpindi express in 2003 world cup?”

Another twitter replied to it and called it “An act of God!”

It’s true that the incidents of derailing have happened before too but comparing old data with present data clearly shows our unwillingness to grow. BJP has formed the government with an absolute majority and even after that if it fails to provide a safe journey to people then ministers and officers must be made accountable. It’s high time  the government took strict actions against officers involved and gave the right message of zero tolerance towards safety of its citizens.
