With shortage of cash, Govt employees to organize a brainstorming session to come up with new ways to take bribe

New Delhi: Shortage of cash after the demonetization of old 500 and 1000 notes has hurt many people, and it hasn’t hurt anyone more than the corrupt government employees. With very little cash in the market, people are unable to afford bribes and it has really hurt the finances of many government employees.

This doesn’t work now

This brainstorming session will be held in the national capital this coming Sunday where the most corrupt government employees will come together to think of new ways to take a bribe.

“Innovation is needed in every industry else it withers and dies. Even our bribery industry can’t sustain if we don’t innovate in the face of fresh challenges. Now this demonetization has created a huge problem for us since we can no longer accept denominations of 500 and 100, and new currency notes are not easily available yet. Now either we can shut down our under the table income for the next few weeks or we can fight back by thinking up innovative ways to accept bribes”, a veteran corrupt official told Faking News.

“We have got the best and the brightest from the country coming in here this Sunday, I am sure we can think up ways to take bribes without it involving currency notes. The system is there to restrict your mind and kill creative thinking but we can’t let the system defeat us”, the official added.

When we asked what have they done with the bribes collected previously in currency notes of 500 and 1000, he said ,”We are trying to brine someone to get them converted to 2000 Rs notes. That is also on the agenda in the meeting.”
