spent all money on getting A-list stars, so used trail version of Adobe software for bullfight: Karan Johar speaks on Kalanks cheap visual effects

After failing to impress audiences and garnering flak for cheap visual effects, Kalank producer Karan Johar has finally broken his silence.

While speaking exclusively to Faking News reporter Karan said that it was budgetary constraints that resulted in tacky CGI, especially the bull fighting scene with Varun Dhawan.

Apparently, Karan spent a bomb on getting A-list stars like Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Aalia Bhatt that there was absolutely no money left for post production.

“I had to fire all the staff we got for doing the visual effects. There was no money left even to purchase the software. Initially we tried it with MS Paint but Varun protested after the final made him look like a animation. So we had to use trial version of Adobe After Effects. By the time we reached the bull-fight, even the trial version expired,” Karan said with a hint of embarrassment.

But Karan’s woes don’t seem to end with his cost-cutting admission. A group of bulls from UP are now planning to sue to director for showing them in poor light. A bull who was engaged a few months back is now unsure about his marital prospects thanks to Kalank.

“I have become a laughing stock in my village after the release of Kalank. It is unfair of Karan Johar to show us like this on the big screen. I demand compensation from him,” said a bull who is part of the group.

With the dismal box-office collections of the movie it is highly unlikely that these bulls would get any compensation from the producers.

Meanwhile, both KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were seen laughing hysterically after reading the reviews of Kalank. Both however refused to comment on the bullfight scene.
