New Delhi: While ruling BJP is exploring the possibility of holding simultaneous elections for state assemblies and Lok Sabha, the staff working at Prime Minister residence has already condemned any such move. The staff at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg has indicated that they will go on a strike if any such proposal is passed.

modi thumbs up

Speaking to Faking News on the condition of anonymity, a worker said , “We are staunch supporters of PM Modi and want him to win again but not by holding simultaneous elections. We think he is the best PM ever only because he is never home thanks to non-stop election campaigns. Now if they hold all elections together then he will start staying home increasing our workload.”

“In between election campaigns and foreign trips, we hardly ever see him which makes our job really relaxed. We are doing a government job which makes other government employees jealous! But all that will end if he is not required to campaign all the time, that is simple unacceptable to us. We have gotten used to this lifestyle in last 4 years and we can’t go back to working”, he went on to add.

Meanwhile, a senior Congress official has welcomed this move in private. He said, “If they hold all the elections together, odds are even we may end up winning one. In one by one, Amit Shah and Modi are not giving any chance.”
