Mumbai: Ever since Madhur Bhandarkar announced the movie Indu Sarkar which is based on Emergency imposed by Mrs Indira Gandhi in 1975, Congress has been feeling a little nervous. Senior leaders held meeting after meeting discussing what can be done to counter the movie. They didn’t leave any stone unturned or any snapchat filter untried but solution was nowhere in sight. Just when they were about to run out of sharing WhatsApp jokes & Memes during the final meeting, someone gave them a brilliant idea of making a movie ‘Hindutva Sarkar’ and expose the Hindu Nationalist agenda of Modi government. Unlike earlier when Congress leadership was caught napping, this time they made quick decisions and have even signed up Anurag Kashyap as director.
The congress working committee member Charan Das Padukone who came up with this idea gave entire credit to Rahul Gandhi. “We were in a closed door meeting for 3 hours and all Sanjay Jha & Mr Tharoor could come up with was to put up some Snapchat filters. Finally when Mrs Gandhi called in 5th time to check if anything came out of the meeting, we realized that we must do something now. Suddenly my gaze went to Rahul Gandhi ji’s portrait and Voila!!! The idea just downloaded into my mind thanks to Late Sri Rajiv Gandhi who brought computers in India. Ever since Raul Baba started spelling his name as Rahul he reached new heights in his life. Tushar Kapoor is another example as he tasted super stardom just by adding an ‘H’ in his name (Tushhar Kapoor). So we decided to make a movie named Hindutva Sarkar and release on the same day.
Charan Das further told our correspondent Shaitaan Khopdi™ “Rahul Gandhi ji has been warning people about Suit-Boot ki Sarkar, now it’s time to expose the real agenda of RSS backed Hindutva Sarkar”. When we asked ‘Why Anurag Kashyap as director?’ Charan Das promptly replied, “Because his movies make impact. An year back everyone was talking about worsening drugs situation in Punjab. Anurag Kashyap made one movie on the topic and suddenly we stopped hearing about drugs menace in Punjab”. So you are countering a movie by making another movie. Isn’t it in contradiction with what Gandhiji taught us, “An eye for an eye will make whole world blind” Shaitaan Khopdi™ tried to reason. He was politely told, “If Gandhiji was alive today he would have done the same. By the way, Gandhi ji never made this quote. Someone attributed it to Gandhiji and we are only too happy to play along. Now we can do whatever we want and at the same time condemn rival parties when try to do ‘tit-for-tat’ on us.”
