Jaitsar/ Udaipur: Indian TV Series Balika Vadhu, which completed its 2000 episodes and registered itself in Limca Book of Records as the longest running Hindi  drama, will show the protagonist raising her voice against the social issue of Child Marriage prevailing in the country in 10000th episode of the show.

Story of the show, which generally revolves around love, family drama and village matters and is remotely associated with the social wrong of Child Marriage will finally cover the plot of the play which was originally aimed for since its inception in, which we (as the saviors of earth) hope, last season of the show.

Taking to the scriptwriter of the desi version of ‘Couples without Benefits’ about the setup of the scene, he said, “Anandi has been fighting hard for the cause. But due to some or other reason, she couldn’t say anything against child marriage when her daughter and granddaughter were married in their adolescent age. So, to show our viewers and Masala reporters that we are really concerned about it, we will be telecasting Anandi’s great granddaughter’s wedding where she’ll be seen doing a dharna while sitting on a wheelchair and shouting slogans after fitting denchers in her mouth.”

The news has been welcomed by the social activists all across the country but Aunties, who keep on guessing what would happen next by doing time and history analysis, disappointed with the spoiler.
