Running out of reasons to justify slow economy, Nirmala Sitharaman takes help of Arsene Wenger to convey positives despite failure

New Delhi. Ms. Sitharaman’s comments on Tuesday had triggered strong reactions on the internet and drew the opposition’s criticism. She said some studies had revealed that there was a change in the mindset of millennials not to commit to monthly installments for buying their own vehicles.

After giving reasons after reasons for the economic failures, Nirmala Sitharaman is running out of ideas as well as time. It will be difficult to hold on to the post if she doesn’t take measures to correct the economy. Nirmala Sitharaman has decided to take Arsene Wenger’s help who carried the ‘specialist in failure’ tag with him over many years. Arsene Wenger held on to the Arsenal job for 22 years, out of which most were unsuccessful years. He came up with different kinds of positives after each failure. Sometimes it was the development of youth, new stadium, tradition to give younger players a chance, beautiful football, and many others.

The football experts around the world were highly critical of Wenger as he failed to deliver the big trophies after 2004, but Arsenal fans were always divided on whether to keep him or not and finally kept him for 22 years. Nirmala Sitharaman is in need of exactly that. She needs new reasons in every press conference or else the media will put pressure on the government to replace her with someone else.
