11 Crs to be given to Ladakh and J&K so they can afford to buy Unadkat if IPL team is formed: Amit Shah

New Delhi. Home Minister Amit Shah today moved the resolution to revoke Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, in Lok Sabha. He also introduced Jammu and Kashmir (Reorganisation) Bill, 2019 in the Lower House of Parliament. There will be two UTS, namely, Ladakh and J&K formed after the bill is passed.

But the opposition had one concern. Will both UTs be able to afford Jaydev Unadkat if an IPL team is formed in the future. Amit Shah did have the answer for this query and has assured the parliament that both UTs will be given 11 Crs each so that they can afford to buy Jaydev Unadkat in the future.

After Amit Shah’s reply, the parliament breathed a sigh of relief as it was really a matter of concern if the regions of Ladakh and J&K would have afforded the services of Unadkat. Coming on to other expensive players like Pawan Negi, the Home Minister said that as and when another costly mediocre player pops up, more money will be given to the UTs.

The IPL auction for 2020 season will be fun if there are teams from the new UTs participating. All eyes are on the rich business houses to spend some money and give a much needed IPL team to the valley.
