Bhopal. Pandya, whose remarks on the show hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar were criticized as sexist, apologized for his remarks, saying he got “carried away by the nature” of the show. Rahul, on the other hand, has not yet responded to the criticism. Koffee with Karan is not for the faint-hearted, or let’s say its not for a person having a job. And that’s exactly what a man from Bhopal is claiming in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Sanil Jain, a small-time trader in MP has filed an RTI to know from the government if his younger brother who is a regular watcher of Koffee With Karan is eligible for the Rs. 10,000 unemployment allowance which the Kamal Nath government had announced after coming to power. Sanil’s younger brother Anil is a big Koffee with Karan fan and he always watches the repeat episodes, teasers of future episodes, and also any news related to who could be the next guest. His dedication while watching the show is immense and he has done everything to prove that he is jobless. The only issue is that the government has still not come out with guidelines which would specify the criteria for unemployment in the State.
At first, the Kamal Nath government thought that people who watched Simmba in theatres are jobless, then they thought people who watch Salman Khan movies are jobless. There is no consensus as to which category of people should be deemed as jobless.
