With a long weekend just gone by, 28  year old IT employee, Santosh Singh, was already dreaming about the next time he’d be having another extended weekend.

Santosh, who works as a Senior Programmer in BlueBells Tech spent the last few days holidaying in Goa thanks to a holiday which fell on Monday. But his joy was short lived after he had to join work on Tuesday making him wonder how the weekend went by so quickly.

Speaking to Faking News he said, “It was an emotional reunion with my workstation after the long weekend. I spent the first half just uploading pics on Facebook of the weekend trip. Just couldn’t help but think about the next time we’d get to have so much fun.”

“Itna toh mai apni girlfriend ke baare mein bhi nahi sochta. I wish we could just get out of the office. Just like those MPs who who stage a walk out from the Parliament,” he added.

Not just Santosh, the entire employee community was ruing the fact that weekend disappeared in the blink of an eye.

There were also isolated reports from organization where employees resisted being part of sales meetings on the first day after weekend.

“I just called my team for a presentation on sales strategy and all of them created ruckus. At one point I even thought they’d start pelting stones at me. The situation was brought under control after we ordered pizza for everyone,” said the Sales Head of a leading FMCG company.
