Ahmedabad. A trip to Goa is undoubtedly one of the most canceled ones for Indian travelers. The beach state of Goa has been declared a green zone after the last COVID patient tested negative for the disease.

Apurv Vyas became the first engineer to cancel his Goa plans after Goa declared itself as a Green Zone state. Apurv was so inspired by PM Modi’s speech that he even became Aatmanirbhar and did not ask his parents about the Goa plan before canceling it.

“It’s been almost a month since lockdown and the fact that we wouldn’t get a chance to cancel our Goa trip got us worried. It is like a ritual for us to make plans that don’t work out. But the PM did inspire me to take this drastic step of canceling the plan without even telling my parents about the plan. I know my parents would have never allowed me to go to Goa. But at least now I can say that the decision was mine and I don’t have to depend on them for the cancellation. I dedicate this cancellation to the nation”, said Apurv to the Faking News team.

For many, the love affair with Goa started after watching Dil Chahta Hai, making plans to Goa is like a ritual.

Preparation starts six months in advance when almost everyone is excited to be part of the trip until the last moment when someone chickens out.
