Apparently things are not going to get better for Mark Zuckerberg in the coming weeks. The Facebook Chief could be flying down to India to face news anchor and TV vigilante Arnab Goswami.
Earlier this week Mark took on questions by lawmakers in the US over allegations of data leak and privacy issues. There were reports that political parties in India used data from Facebook to manipulate the elections without explicit consent by users of the social networking site.
“He has face the lawmakers there, now he has to face the lawmaker here. And I am pretty sure you have no doubt in your mind that it is Arnab. Where Supreme Court ends, Arnab begins,” said a source close to the development.
Many however were questioning the purpose of the entire exercise. “He will come here and apologize, that’s it. How will that solve concerns of privacy. Unless he takes some concrete steps it is all sham,” said Subramaniam Swamy, almost asking for a ban on the site.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had something similar to, “Agar sirf maafi maangni hai to woh mai maang loonga. Uske liye itne door aane ki zaroorat nahi,” he said.
Mark Zuckerberg and his team are busy preparing for the grilling session with Arnab, which includes going through all his date on Facebook.
