Patna. Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan, who seems to be confused about getting into an alliance with BJP before upcoming Lok Sabha elections, has decided to go for a PhD degree to figure out whether Modi is communal or not.
“I thought I knew the answer in 2002, and till 2005 I was pretty certain that I knew the answer – and the answer was – Modi was communal and so was BJP,” Paswan told Faking News.
“But later, after a couple of state elections in Bihar, I was forced to reassess. I realized that I was in a hurry. I don’t want to rush in again so I have decided to go for a PhD to research on this confusing topic,” he explained.
With very feeble chances of becoming a kingmaker that he was during 2005 Bihar assembly elections, sources say that Paswan is making a long term plan.
“This PhD is part of my preparation for 2015 Bihar assembly elections and 2019 or earlier general elections. My aim is to clear my head and have a definitive stand on Modi before 2020,” Paswan clarified.
LJP claims that Paswan’s PhD thesis will be helpful for many other parties who often appear confused over the Modi issue.
“Paswan ji will literature analysis and PhD proposal after the general elections, which itself could help many parties, including leaders like Nitish Kumar to find out if Modi was communal,” an LJP leader said.
