Mumbai. Mahindra Scorpio is a living legend of the Indian automotive industry. The Mahindra Scorpio SUV was first launched in 2002 and since then the tough and rugged vehicle has been used in many Indian movies. The Mahindra Scorpio again features in a new movie Simba starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Rohit Shetty. So often do cars explode in his films that the act of deciphering Rohit Shetty appears akin to taking a wrench to a Scorpio. It isn’t an entirely dissimilar process, considering that Shetty’s films are star-driven vehicles, and here VEHICLE is in a literal sense.

But Mahindra has requested Rohit Shetty to give some more time to produce so many cars which will then be used for his next movie which stars Akshay Kumar in lead. Akshay Kumar had a guest appearance in Simmba and Rohit has announced the next Cop movie with him. Seen the scale at which Rohit operates and keeps on upgrading, there will be a requirement of 1000 more cars. Anand Mahindra has urged Rohit to just wait for their new manufacturing plant in Thane which will roll out vehicles to be used in Rohit Shetty films.

Anand Mahindra has promised Rohit that within a year all the 1000 promised vehicles will be delivered and good discount will be provided on each car. Rohit, whose main budget of a movie is of the cars that are used has thanked Anand Mahindra personally.
