Mumbai. Maharashtra politics saw some never-ending drama as government formation took almost a month after the election results. But not all is well between Shiv Sena and Congress-NCP. Sanjay Raut has filed a copyright case against Congress-NCP MLAs who said: “next CM will be from Shiv Sena”.
Actually Sanjay Raut is the owner of the statement “ Next CM will be from Shiv Sena”. He has repeated the sentence so many times that the Oxford dictionary has registered the sentence in his name.
Maharashtra MLAs passed a resolution appointing Uddhav Thackeray as the leader of the alliance and the Chief Ministerial nominee of the front. The resolution was mooted by NCP state president Jayant Patil and was seconded by State Congress President Balasaheb Thorat.
But while selecting Uddhav as the coalition leader some MLAs from Congress-NCP shouted a slogan “Next CM will be from Shiv Sena” to which Sanjay Raut raised an objection.
He was very angry and left the hotel midway through the meeting. Today morning it was found that he has registered a case against the Congress-NCP MLAs and soon Congress and NCP will approach BJP for new government formation.
