New Delhi. As we already know that Mumbai Metro is executing 10-11 projects at this time and almost all projects are running at a very slow pace.

The coronavirus threat has further reduced the pace. The Supreme Court has said that there is in fact no need of the Mumbai Metro as the Delhi Metro will soon reach Mumbai in the near future. The pace of construction of the Delhi Metro is incomparable and is the best in India. Delhi Metro will soon operate in different parts of Mumbai. All major destinations will be covered and people can also travel between Mumbai and Delhi in a metro.

Delhi Metro is the largest and busiest rapid transit system in India connecting the country’s capital region with satellite cities. Delhi Metro currently comprises a network of 389km with 285 stations and stretches to Noida and Ghaziabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh, and Gurgaon, Faridabad, Bahadurgarh and Ballabhgarh in the state of Haryana.

There are chances that it will soon enter Rajasthan, then Gujarat and then Maharashtra. It’s just a matter of 1-2 years. Mumbai Metro on the Andheri-Ghatkopar line took 8 years for the completion.
