Withdrew Lalu's Z+ Security because we need every commando we have to protect Cinema halls showing Padmavati's trailer: Govt

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has asked Lalu Yadav just what he is “so afraid of” referencing his ex-partner’s anger at his security being downgraded from a Z+ cover to a Z by the central government in its latest review. The scaling down has meant that the 69-year-old Bihar politician will not be protected by central forces like the National Security Guard (NSG), reserved for select VVIPs and often seen as a status symbol. But the Govt has made this decision after the pressure to protect all cinema halls showing Padmavati trailer has increased.

The home ministry was questioned for its decision by RJD  leaders and they have come out with a very logical reason. The home ministry has made it clear that currently the security of people going to Cinema halls is of utmost priority and all commandos will be used to achieve that. Due to this it is not possible to provide Z+ security to all Political leaders. It also made it clear that Laloo already has the state provided security at his disposal so why need security from the centre. This announcement by the Govt has made people going to cinema halls feel more secure. In fact Faking News reported that there was an increase in multiplex footfalls by almost 20% after this announcement.

Laloo’s older son and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav yesterday hit a new low by threatening to “scalp” Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his father’s security downgrade. Lalu Yadav said he disagrees with his son’s language, but also said, “Any son’s blood will boil if he feels his father is under threat and his security is withdrawn.” But after the home ministry’s clarification on the matter, even Tej has praised the government as he himself has plans to watch the movie when it releases and wants full safety while watching it.
