Mumbai. The Centre has directed states to declare districts with a higher number of cases as hotspots (red zone), those with lesser number of cases as non-hotspots (orange zone), and those which have reported no cases as green zones.
This had led to unrest among the Bandra residents, majorly the girls who want Bandra to be a Carnation Pink zone. They are unhappy with the government just giving priority to normal colors and ignoring the more complicated and posh colors. Ananya, who is a Bandra resident spoke to faking News and said “There are so many good options to choose from, Ruby pink, Ultra pink, Thulian pink, Magenta, but the government went for the boring colors. This will degrade the status of Bandra. How can we be in a zone which has a boring color code? I and my fellow residents demand a simple thing from the government. Just declare Bandra a carnation pink zone. We will take back our protest after that”
Even some South Delhi girls have come out in support of the cause.
