Boy makes 8 proposals in the first week of February to prepare himself for rejection on Valentine's Day

Bengaluru. An IT guy who works in the IT capital city, also known as the garden city in earlier centuries, plans to make 8 proposals in the first week of February to prepare himself for rejection on Valentine’s day, it is learnt by Faking News. While talking to media, he even proposed to the female reporter, just to increase the count one more, it is further learnt by Faking News.

“First of all, I want to categorically declare that I am not a mechanical engineer or a civil engineer. I am a regular boy who finished B.Tech. in IT and working as a software engineer like any other regular citizen in this city. For a dude in Technology, I always have had technical problems when it comes to talking to a girl, leave alone asking her out for a date or proposing for a relationship. Contrary to the common belief, it is not the Appraisal day but a Valentine’s day is the most dreadful day of the year for me,” Adil told Faking News.

“The first girl I proposed to during college days, on a Valentine’s day rejected me in the mid of my proposal. From the next year onward, several girls have rejected my proposals even before I started saying a word or taking a rose out from my college bag. A few of them had later tied Rakhi just to ensure that I would not repeat the act the next year around. Hell it is. Even my company has not rejected as many proposals whenever I have asked for a salary hike or an onsite opportunity,” Adil further added with a touch of frustration in his voice.

“This guy is a hopeless romantic. Other than the cleaning lady, he has already proposed to every other female in the office. The reason the housekeeping lady had escaped from his approach is simply because she leaves much before anyone comes to our office and Adil probably does not know that such a person exists in the company payroll. We all have set an ‘Auto Reject’ reply for his proposals much like ‘Out of office’ replies for emails,” Adil’s office girls told Faking News in chorus.

All these developments, over the years, have forced Adil to come up with such a drastic measure this time around, it is learnt by Faking News. Despite this grand scheme, he has provisionally applied for 2 weeks medical leave to recuperate from Valentine’s day heartbreak, it is further learnt by Faking News.
