Delhi couple file for divorce after seeing each other’s faces clearly for the first time due to less pollution

New Delhi. The ongoing lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic has pushed pollution levels in Delhi to a 5-year low and, across India, the number of cities that recorded ‘good’ on the air quality index jumped.

But the low pollution levels created havoc for a couple who saw each other’s face clearly for the first time. Aman and Neha had married some time back but theirs was an arranged marriage and just like other couples in Delhi, they had not seen each other’s face clearly till now. It was only due to low pollution levels that yesterday they saw each other clearly and then thought of divorcing each other. It was a mutual decision as they did not like each other’s faces.

The good thing though is that they don’t have any children and the divorce process may go smoothly. There are chances that divorce rates will go up if the lockdown goes on for more tie as more couples will realize their mistakes. WHO has not given any directives to India on the lockdown yet and the ball is in the court of the central government now.
